Patricia King has been involved with photography since 2001. Encouraged by friends and colleagues she began to offer her work for sale through various local art shows and sales. 

     Recent awards include  first place in the  People's Choice category at the 76th Annual Cumberland Valley Photographic Salon for "Icy Pond" and second place in the Friends of the Blue Ridge Mountains 2009 Photographic Exhibit for "Morning Ribbons".

     Ms. King offers a six week digital photography basics workshop for older elementary students. The workshop allows the young photographers a structured opportunity to explore their world through the camera lens. Topics covered in the workshop include digital point and shoot camera features and photo retrieval, image composition, lighting, focal points, path of action, digital manipulation projects and printing.

     Matted and framed photographs of various sizes are available for purchase as well as a collection of note cards featuring various gallery photos mounted on heavy cardstock with matching envelopes. Special event photography and commissioned photography is available upon review.
